It turns out the gates to the parking lots inside the Ashland State Park will not be open on Sunday.
Instead of parking and meeting inside the park, we will meet near the intersection of Chestnut St. and Rosebay Dr. in Ashland. There’s a trail entrance here, right off of Chestnut St., near a couple of “2 Hour Parking” signs. This trail entrance is shown on the park’s trail map.
If you go down Rosebay Dr., you’ll find plenty of street parking there for the day.
