Boy I hope so. Dennis here – sound guy. I’m sitting on Gul’s couch, drinking chai, trying to stay awake while the rest of the crew is up on the roof braving the fierce winds and shooting scenics, MOS. I want to get a move on. We have one more scene to shoot at a location an hour’s drive from here, and at least 4 hours to get it shot. That puts our wrap time somewhere in the vicinity of 3 a.m. – if we’re lucky, or good, or both.
Wait – Just got a call from DP/Director/Team leader Chris – they may have come up with a way to eliminate the scene.
They’re on their way down from the roof to fill me in on the new plan… Whatever it is, I hope it involves me being home in bed sometime within the next 4 hours or so!
We still have plenty of work ahead of us tomorrow, and we could all use a good night’s sleep before taking on the editing.
Ankit is doing assemblies, Jonathan is doing titles, I’ll be doing post-audio mixing, I have no idea who will be scoring, and Chris is our master editor/color grader.
God, I need a cigarette.
