Just as all the craziness is dying down, the complete Walter Murch Boston Supermeet video has been posted. Hopefully, people will take the time to watch it and decide for themselves what Walter Murch had to say about a variety of topics, ranging from the evolution of film, his Final Cut and FileMaker Pro workflow, and of course, the divisive Final Cut Pro X topic.
Dear Chris Portal – thank you both for the excellence of your original post, and then the follow-up clarifying aspects of this obviously divisive issue, FCPX…May the craziness subside.

I hope people will process what he had to say with an open mind, instead of fishing for inflammatory statements to latch onto. As Walter Murch recently wrote me (unexpectedly), some sensible dialogue this time around would be a welcome change of pace.
