A big thank you to New York No Limits organizers Tom Escovar and Robby Wagner for offering an excellent venue for the premiere of Skunked last week. We had a successful screening at The Wild Project, a small gallery and theatre in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. There was a little bit of a screening scare in the hour leading up to the event where we discovered the projector was cropping some of the image on screen, but we were able to correct the issues enough.

Of the eight films screened that evening, we were the last to go, leading into a Q&A with a very engaged audience, asking Laura and I a number of questions about Barefoot Workshops, our documentary subjects, and our editing process. Skunked will be screening at Rhodywood’s Short Film Critique Night on Thursday, March 1st 7pm at the Brooklyn Coffee Teahouse. If you’re in the Providence, RI area, come by to catch a screening of the film.
