This isn’t really news, as it came out in January, but I stumbled upon the Timeline Movie Maker recently, and since it involves a video “I made”, I thought I’d post it…

The Timeline Movie Maker was launched by Definition6, and is essentially a marketing tool for Facebook’s new timeline feature, but presented as a fun social app for creating a one-click “personalized cinematic experience”. The way it works is it scrapes your Facebook timeline for photos and videos you’ve posted, as well as life events, and creates a dynamic video set to 1 of a few music options. The video is intended to only be shared on Facebook though, so you’ll have to resort to a screen grab tool to get a hold of the video. If you haven’t seen it, it’s worth trying out. The video takes less than a minute to generate once you give the app access to your Facebook timeline.
